Well, now I think I know why I had that burst of energy at the beginning of the year, after the 7 mile bridge run at the beginning of August, I totally lost all the energy I had. I just wanted to sleep all the time. I had a few weeks off in between my jobs, and I took 1 sometime 2 naps a day. I didn't feel like running or doing anything physical. Not sure if it was depression, or hormones, or what.

A whole year of running, eating, and quilting
So, I've decided to create a blog that tracks my thoughts and tidbits of wisdom as I go about my journey to run a marathon on my 50th birthday on January 29, 2023.
I've been looking at Hawaii. It's always been a dream of mine to run a marathon in Hawaii, and what better time to do it then in the 50th state, in the 50th anniversary of the Honolulu marathon on my 50th birthday. (Well, actually, the Honolulu marathon is in December 2022, but who cares if it's not exact, right?)
